Wheel Kids Bicycle Club is a bicycle summer day camp for kids age 5 through 15, located in San Francisco. We spend our days riding bikes, having fun, learning skills and safety and exploring the Bay Area. We take daily rides from our base camp near Fort Mason, while once a week we have a field trip to explore cycling opportunities beyond San Francisco.
Sometimes we learn. Sometimes we play. Sometimes we just hang out. We always have fun.
Wheel Kids is devoted to youth bicycling, developing the skills and passion that create life-long cyclists. We strive to:
- teach safe riding skills and habits
- build confidence and self-esteem
- improve cycling skills
- encourage kids to consider their bikes as viable means of transportation
- and have FUN in a unique activity-oriented camp experience.
