"...it's amazing what you guys were able to teach him in just one week!"
Can’t quite shake those training wheels? Do you love your Skuut but look enviously at bicyclists? Are your training wheels in storage but you haven’t mastered riding without them? The Two Wheelers Club is for you.
The Two Wheelers Club is designed to teach 5 to 7 year olds how to ride their bike*. Using the safe environment of Fort Mason Center and a low kid-to-staff ratio, we work with aspiring young riders on developing the balance, coordination and confidence needed to ride independently. We use games, obstacle courses, huge amounts of praise and encouragement, and plain old perseverence to make learning to ride fun and immensely satisfying for your child. We don’t guarantee results but we’re confident that after one or two weeks with Two Wheelers we’ll have a group of cyclists ready to join their peers at Wheel Kids.
Program & Activities
The Two Wheelers Club is a separate program from Wheel Kids, with an emphasis on mastering the basic skills of independent riding as well as some good off-the-bike fun, adventure and exploration. The first part of each week is spent close to the clubhouse, with lots of one-on-one attention to work out the jitters and begin riding. The remainder of the week is spent taking rides along Marina Green, Crissy Field and the Presidio, depending on how the group’s skill level is developing.

Moving Up
Once kids have successfully completed Two Wheelers Club they are encouraged to continue their bicycling adventures by attending Wheel Kids camp. If you combine three or more weeks of Two Wheelers and Wheel Kids, the multi-week registration discount will be applied.
*For older children still needing to learn or refine their basic riding skills, please see our Riding Lessons option. We find it's easier to older kids to learn with their peers rather than with the younger riders of Two Wheelers Club.
Schedule and events are subject to change. Minimum registration of 10 participants is required. Registered participants will be notified of cancelation due to insufficient registrations; a full refund will be provided. See Participant Agreement for refund policy for all other circumstances. A waitlist will be available once registration is full.
