Wheel Kids is riding even when schools aren't!

We offer one day camps on most school holidays and furlough days. If you have a school closure that's not on the list below, contact us to see if a mini-camp can be arranged for your school.

If you joined us for our previous mini-camps - thanks for riding with us! Stay tuned for more info on upcoming camps.

FEB 17 & 20

Day 1 (Friday, Feb 17): Golden Gate Park riding adventure.
There is an exceptional amount of bike riding that can be done in Golden Gate Park, from the Waller Street bike training area all the way to Ocean Beach. We'll explore as much of the park as we can, by path, street and trail. There's too much to do in the park to set out a definite itinerary - this mini-camp is for the truly adventurous at heart who don't mind sudden changes of plan or direction. Wherever we end up, it'll be awesome.
Rainy day alternatives possible depending on forecast.

Where: Drop off and pick up at the Waller Street bicycle training area, Waller and Stanyan (note: there's no restroom facility here, but that'll be our first stop once we're on our way).

Day 2 (Monday, Feb 20): Tiburon field trip.
Take the ferry with us to Tiburon to ride its quiet streets and Bay Trail bike path along the Richardson Bay. We'll ride as far as the Richardson Bay Audubon Center for lunch on the beach, and probably stop at several of the playgrounds along the way.
Rainy day alternatives possible depending on forecast

Where: Drop off and pick up at Fort Mason Center, Building C.

For Both Days:

When: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Who: These mini-camps are appropriate for advanced beginners and up. Advanced riders may not feel sufficiently challenged, but they'll still have fun.

Cost: $75. Sibling discounts available.

How to Register: Online registration is closed.

* Schedule and events are subject to change. Minimum registration of 10 participants is required; maximum registration is 25. Registered participants will be notified if mini-camp is canceled due to insufficient registrations; a full refund will be provided. See Participant Agreement for refund policy for all other circumstances. A waitlist will be available once registration is full.

Please note: These are bicycling- and event-oriented adventures for advanced beginners and above. Some mini-camps will feature challenging off-road riding and may not be appropriate for newer riders or single speed bikes. Drop-off and pick-up locations may vary depending on our transportation mode (bike, ferry or bus). Details available in camp descriptions.
